Howl stumbled about, her back was still badly burned and she could barely walk, but she had to get to the next town and then to her lab. She needed to get to the lab, so she could heal her Pokemon. She at thia point was not thinking of herself, for that matter, she couldn't hardly feel the pain anymore. Why is it so cold here? The area is spinning... Howl quicklyu sat down, before she could fall down... Kuro... She thought remebering how she had shoved her Espeon into her arms and let herself get hit by the powerful Flamethrower. Over and over the images flashed through her mind... Howl put her head in her hands and started sobbing.... She was crying at her stupidity in getting hit but also for her past, which although she hated to admit hurt her greatly. She had loved her 0nii-chan, why did her leave hoime without her?

Howl hadn't even notice them, yet... Because if she knew they were watching her as she cried she would've already run away... Never mind the fact, that she had huge burns on her. She feared being seen by other people as weak. She hated to cry in public and hadn't even shed a tear until the day her brother left her alone with her mom. She was crying uncontrollably and she hid her face and her ears were currently plugged with earphones which bwas playing the song, "Wasted"...

Kuro and Enkou stopped when they notice Howl was crying. Kuro noticed she hasn't healed, but he didn't care much... He wouldn't care at all if he hadn't had feelings for her, but he was doing all he could to keep those locked up. "..." They just stood there, a ways off, watching...

Howl, meanwhile, has finally stopped c rying as she stood up, shakily, and nearly fell flat on her butt. She put a hand to her head and squinted up ahead, "Princess, how far is it to getting out of here?" she asked her Espeon still in a broken voice.
The Espeon loookedd at her with worried eyes, ~It's still quite far. Why don't you let me get help?~ Howl looked at her Espeon which had been her best friend foir quite some time and smiled. It was an easy-going gentle smile for once, "I'm okay, Princess. Really I am. I'm just a little dizzy, thats all. I can make it to the-" with those words Howl fainted and fell towards the hard rocky ground. ~Mistress!~ The Espeon cried out as her eyes glowed a brillaint blue before Howl was slowly lowered to the ground and then the Espeon stood over Howl's body, gaurding her master.

Kuro watched all silently, "Enkou, get off the path and meet me up further ahead..." Kuro said and began walking toward Howl. Enkou watched for a few minutes, he wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but followed the command silently. Enkou got off the path and when he was hidden, began moving his way past Howl, Kuro, and the ohers. Kuro walked up o the Espeon and stood infront of it, looking at Howl with no emotion showing.

The Espeon arched it's back fully expecting the trainer to attack Howl whilke she was unconcoius and in her weakened state. ~What do you want with her? She's in no condition to be battling right now and neither are we. So, just go away.~ the Espeon pleaded as it stood in front of Howl. ~Please, please don't hurt her anymore than she already is.~

Kuro cruched down, took his pack off and began rumaging through it. He pulled out bandages, some medical looking crap and... A POTION?! "Listen, apperantly she's partially a pokemon... I'm sure this potion will work, but I don't know to what exent... Do you want me to help? Or shall I leave the crap here and let you do it yourself?"

The Espeon's ears perked but it's eyes were still confused as it moved away from Howl ~0ne question... We hurt you and your Typlohion, why are you helping us? We gave you ne reason to be nice to us... In fact we've given you every reason to frankly hurt us in every way possible, so why are you helping?~ It was plainly confused.

"I have my damned reasons..." Kuro said with obivous hatred, he didn't like doing this. Kuro first applied the medicine, followed by the bandages. "Listen... I'm going to give her the Potion... Then I'm going to go... She'll be in your care then..." Kuro sid getting the Potion ready. With a sigh he used it on Howl, then stood and looked at the Espeon, "...Take care..." With that Kuro turned and continued down the path to meet up with Enkou.

The Espeon looked at him, understanding in her eyes, a she took back to gaurding Howl, who was already waking up... "Ugggnnh... What happened to me? Anybody get the number of the Dophan that ran me over?" she asked comically, her ears perked up. The Espeon looked ta her it's eyes full of laughter ~Get up, Mistress. You owe someone a thank you. That green-haired trainer just saved you.~ Howl stood up, "He did, did he?" she asked as her eyes followed Kuro down tha path. Why? I hurt him, why did he freaking help me?

Kuro stopped and looked back at Howl as Enkou reappeared. The two watched Howl and her Espeon for a few moments before turning and walking off into the distance. "Route Five here we come?" Kuro half asked Enkou, who gave a chuckle and nodded.
